Rising from the ashes..

Writing after exactly one and a half months. Life seems to be a roller-coaster at times. At some point of time, the dull phase creeps in as well. Continuity maintain karte hue, let’s start from December 4(the date I wrote my last post). Don’t remember what I was upto that day. Though I am quite good at remembering significant dates, can be significant in any respect. The end term exams started from Dec. 17 and ghar jaane ka bumper mood tha. Dunno why but don’t miss home usually, exams aate hi something crazy happens in my system. Those were hectic days but I would find solace by just counting the number of days till I reach home. Finally, it was Dec.22 and exams got over. Had the extra pressure of doing well this time around and things were looking good till the last exam, the dreaded subject, Financial Analytics. Teachers itne mast the that I’d look at one guy(Prof.) and keep on laughing and smiling for 90 minutes. He never asked me y I was giggling. Another guy allowed us to watch movies in class. Imagine watching Andaz Apna Apna or DDLJ in a B-school classroom. Aisi kismat baar-baar nahin milti.
Reached home on 24th morning and was reminded by Aamir Khan posters, “Remember December 25.” Was eagerly waiting for his next flick to release. Mom ka birthday bhi tha on 25th and the holidays would have started with a bang but for the dreaded thigh problem which had been troubling me for 10 days. Doctor ne sahi praise kiya, kitna bahadur ladka hai..Nepal mein born hona chahiye tha. But was in deep pain before and after the operation. December 25 ka band baj gaya. Arun and Omesh aaye hue the and was to meet both of them after 5-6 months. So didn’t care much about the thigh and met college friends quite regularly. We used to meet up at our “adda” Rajouri Garden and spend time like we used to sometime back. It was amazing, those moments of each others’ company, pulling each others’ leg. Arun left Delhi on 31st and Omesh arrived on 31st. So met the whole college gang on 1st. Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the New Year. Sitting in Central Park and discussing our lives, current and past moments and recalling the hilarious ones was like music to the ears. At home, the atmosphere was good but my weight problems seemed to be a cause for concern. Loved the Delhi winter and strangely, got bored of it pretty quickly. Had non veg. Food almost everyday and must say that itna achcha and variety ka non veg. Nahin khaaya hoga for the past 22 years. Good for my health as well. A couple of my NM friends visited Delhi for the 1st time and we made plans of going to the best locations in Delhi but felt sorry for those guys. My foot didn’t allow me to move around. On the whole, the trip was good but not great. Wasn’t quite saturated staying in Mumbai and after just 2 months, didn’t feel like going back home. The thigh problem and the pathetic weather were definitely unwanted. The last two days at home were quite bad. Just before the vacations end, there’s always something weird happening which spoils the memories of the break.
Got back to Mumbai on 5th evening and life quickly got back to normal. I came to Mumbai 210 days back and still haven’t met the two gods, Aamir Khan and Sachin Tendulkar. By the way, saw Madhuri Dixit a few days back. Very pretty and that awesome smile is still very much there. Shabana Azmi, Imran Khan, Sanjay Gupta and Goldie Behl were also present. Goldie ji Sonali Bendre ko saath nahin laaye. Dil khush ho jaata if woh aati. Anyway, Anushka(the girl opposite SRK in his latest flick) and Asin ne dil khush kar diya. Dono bahut cute hain. Now, eagerly waiting to see Farhan Akhtar on the screen on 30th Jan. Looks promising yet again and I am sure, I’d love the film. Just before writing this blog, was watching “Rock On” in fast forward mode and the film was a treat to watch.
Back to real life, life ka agenda hai atleast one movie a day with bhai log, padai ki tension nahin lene ka. The late night gossip sessions are as entertaining as ever and I was in great form on 15th January. Why I mention this is because compliment mila tha ek senior citizen se and should respect his thoughts. Classes are damn boring and thode se teachers strict types hain. So no pangas and proxies this time. Just two weeks into the Trimester and bunk karna abhi se start kar diya. Class chal rahi hai but hostel mein matinee show chal raha hai, Omkara. Mast life hai yaar. Weekends are spent by just watching movies and sleeping. Jab saturate hue toh socha kuch likh lete hain.
Ab kuch khaas nahin hai to write, so going to call it a day now. Thodi boring post hai I know but tried to make up in the latter part of the post.
